The teams are set and the countdown to Euro 2024 can now begin.

Ukraine, Poland and Georgia became the last three teams to ensure their place in Germany where the tournament starts on 14 June.

Poland overcame Wales to go straight into a group containing Netherlands, Austria and France, while Ukraine take on Belgium, Slovakia and Romania with debutants Georgia playing Turkey, Portugal and Czech Republic.

Italy will be among the favourites to reach Berlin, where the final will be held in July, but England, Spain and France will have something to say about that.

Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, will want another crack at glory to add to his 2016 victory with this most likely being his last European Championship given he is 39 years old.

Here talkSPORT takes a look at the favourites to win, with odds courtesy of talkSPORT Bet.

Croatia – 40/1

Euro 2024 could be the last hurrah for a supremely talented Croatia side.

With Luka Modric, Marcelo Brozovic and Andrej Kramaric all well into their 30s, it could be the last tournament where this golden generation are all together.

While going all the way could be a stretch, they'll no doubt cause some problems in a tricky group featuring Italy, Spain and Albania.

Denmark – 33/1

Another nation perhaps beyond their peak with a number of key stars gearing up for what could be their final tournaments.

Kaspar Schmeichel, Simon Kjaer and Christian Eriksen are all getting on and while they could make the difference this summer, it's unlikely that they'll see them to glory.

That said, if Manchester United starlet Rasmus Hojlund can show his quality then they could do well.

Italy – 16/1

While Italy are one of world football's most iconic sides, their hopes of winning the tournament appear slim.

While beating England in the final in 2020, Italy have failed to qualify for the last two tournaments and only qualified for this summer's tournament after squeezing through their qualifying campaign.

Passionate Italian fans will be hoping for a successful tournament, but the Azzurri could struggle as they prepare to face Spain and Croatia in a tough group.

Netherlands – 16/1

Ronald Koeman's side perfectly fit the mold of being Euro 2024's dark horses.

With talent throughout their squad, the Netherlands have the potential to go far, but that will depend on stars such as Virgil van Dijk, Frenkie de Jong and Cody Gakpo finding their form early on.

However, they are in the 'Group of Death' with Poland, Austria and France.

Belgium - 16/1

Another nation who are in a period of transition, Belgium certainly aren't as strong as they were five or 10 years ago.

The golden generation that featured Vincent Kompany, Eden Hazard and others is now clinging on with Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku the headline attractions.

Whether they'll be enough to see them to glory, however, remains to be seen.

Portugal – 9/1

One of the most talented squads in Europe on paper, Portugal will cause problems for any nation they face.

Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias, Joao Felix, Bernardo Silva and Rafael Leao will all be integral to Roberto Martinez's side this summer, as will Ronaldo.

At 39 years of age, it may well be Ronaldo's last hurrah for his country and he'll be determined to potentially exit the international scene with a trophy in his hands.

Spain - 8/1

While Spain reached the semi-finals of Euro 2020, there's a feeling that they're still not the powerhouse that they once were.

Replacing legends such as Xavi, Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta is hard and in Alejandro Balde, Gavi, Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams and Pau Cubarsí they do have players who are capable of shining in the years to come.

However, with this summer in mind, it feels like Spain might just fall short in their aspirations of reaching the final stages.

Germany – 5/1

Germany have the potential to go all the way at Euro 2024, but they could also endure a tournament from hell.

There's no in-between for Germany who were knocked out in the group stages of the 2018 and 2022 World Cup, while only reaching the last-16 at Euro 2020.

But finishing as runners-up in 2012 and 2016 - while winning the World Cup in 2014 - shows that they are very much an all-or-nothing nation.

With veterans like Thomas Muller, Toni Kroos and Manuel Neuer joining stars including Jamal Musiala and Kai Haverz, there's always a threat of causing some real problems.

France – 7/2

France are second favourites to win Euro 2024 and you just have to look at their squad to understand why.

Kylian Mbappe headlines a blockbuster roster of players who will be desperate to go one step further than they did two years ago in Qatar when they were beaten by Lionel Messi and Argentina in the World Cup final.

If Mbappe wants to be held in the same regard as Messi he needs to win the biggest tournaments around, starting with Euro 2024, so you can bet your house that they'll be going all out to win it.

England - 11/4 (favourites)

While it might not be something that sits comfortably with fans, the Three Lions are favourites to succeed at Euro 2024.

While England's showing at the World Cup was underwhelming, Gareth Southgate's side made it all the way to the Euro 2020 final last time out, ultimately losing on penalties to Italy.

But with Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden among those who are really at the top of their game, it would take a brave soul to bet against England ending 58 years of hurt by winning a trophy.
