Tottenham looking at a familiar target again for the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be one of the five clubs interested in signing Gleison Bremer from Juventus this summer, per Italian outlet Calciomercato, as the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle have expressed interest in the Brazilian alongside Daniel Levy & Co.

If we were to believe reports over the past couple of weeks complemented by the lack of defensive back up at N17, Spurs are very inclined to bringing another centre-half this summer. Ange Postecoglou already has Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, and Radu Dragusin at his disposal, and the Australian gaffer is keen to complete a quartet of top-quality options on the Spurs’ roster.

Looking into the market, Daniel Levy has landed on a familiar face, as Tottenham looked to bring the 27-year-old to North London again last summer, but the Brazilian opted to stay at Juventus.

The Red Devils have firmed up their chase for the 27-year-old, per Calciomercato.it, as Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks to make a bullish start to his time at Old Trafford.

Gleison Bremer penned down a new contract with the Bianconeri recently and has been one of the best centre-backs in the Italian top-tier for a while now. Like Spurs, even Manchester United have expressed interest in the former Torino defender on multiple occasions, and Calciomercato.it contends that the Manchester Reds are ready to activate the release clause “in excess of £50 million” in Bremer’s contract.

With the list of clubs targeting him, it is going to be an interesting transfer to follow when the summer comes.
