Manchester United were handed an injury boost on Wednesday after one of their doubts for Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City was judged likely to play.

Harry Maguire was seen holding his thigh during the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday, raising concerns about his fitness ahead of the trip to Wembley. However, MEN Sport understands that the centre-back will be available for selection for Erik ten Hag.

This comes as a relief with just Willy Kambwala the only other certainly fit centre-half amid the injuries to Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof while Jonny Evans is a doubt and fill-in Luke Shaw is still sidelined.
