Manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed he expects to have Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Antony available for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City at Wembley.

McTominay has missed each of United's last two matches while Antony was unavailable for the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth last time out. Maguire, meanwhile, played through the pain barrier against Bournemouth after feeling something during the first half.

The trio are all set to be available this weekend, giving United a much-needed boost ahead of their trip to the capital. Elsewhere, Ten Hag has confirmed Alejandro Garnacho has apologised for 'liking' two social media posts questioning his decision to substitute him at Bournemouth and that the club and the player want to 'move on'.

United will make the trip to Wembley with the ambition of booking a second successive appearance in the FA Cup final. However, they have not won since beating Liverpool 4-3 in the quarter-finals of the competition last month, meaning they are currently on a four-game winless run.

FULL STORY: Ten Hag confirms Garnacho has issued apology

United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed Alejandro Garnacho has apologised for 'liking' two posts on social media.

Garnacho 'liked' two posts made on X, formerly known as Twitter, by a YouTuber, who questioned Ten hag's decision to substitute the winger at half-time in the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth last weekend.

Ten Hag dealt with Garnacho personally and a club spokesperson confirmed the matter had been dealt with internally. Ten Hag has said United and Garnacho will now 'move on' from the situation.

Ten Hag: 'Scrapping FA Cup replays inevitable'

"It's very sad for the British football culture but it is also inevitable. It's due to the overload in the schedule, that's dictated by FIFA and UEFA."

Ten Hag understands ongoing frustrations

"Yes, of course we want to win every game so when we don't win we are disappointed. We are frustrated but we know also we can beat the best teams. We drew twice against Liverpool, we beat them in the FA Cup, we played very good against Chelsea. When we play to our levels we can achieve really high highs. Last season was last season. We want to achieve every season, we want to win trophies, we have a big opportunity. We are in a semi-final but it's a huge challenge."

Ten Hag says Garnacho has apologised for 'liking' social media posts

"Alejandro is a young player. Has to learn a lot. He has apologised for it and we move on."

Ten Hag expects McTominay and Antony to return

"Antony and Scott [McTominay], I expect them to be back. We have some problems, Harry [Maguire] struggled with a small injury against Bournemouth. He didn’t train this week so far but he’s now back on the pitch and I think he’ll be available for Sunday."

FEATURE: I saved Ferguson's job at United – now I might cost Ten Hag his

Coventry City manager Mark Robins is no stranger to United.

The 54-year-old, who has overseen a splendid job during his second stint as Coventry boss, is a product of United's academy and spent four years as a first-team player at Old Trafford between 1988 and 1992.

After taking over as United boss in 1986, Sir Alex Ferguson experienced a stuttering first few years in charge, so much so that he was widely reported to be just one game away from the sack in 1990. However, Robins scored an FA Cup winner against Nottingham Forest, sealing a 1-0 win, and United went on to win the competition that season.

What happened Inside first Old Trafford task force meeting that could kickstart £2bn rebuild for United

Andy Burnham - the mayor of Greater Manchester - has described the first Old Trafford task force meeting as 'introductory' and reiterated the decision is in United's hands.

Chaired by Lord Sebastian Coe, the first task force meeting to regenerate Old Trafford took place earlier this week. The task force was created last month and features Sara Todd, chief executive of Trafford Council, and former United defender Gary Neville.

Reflecting on the meeting, Burnham told the Manchester Evening News:

"It was an introductory meeting. We were all getting to know each other, although most of us knew each other already, but just scoping out what we could do. Obviously our role is to facilitate the club's decision. We're there to help with the information, evidence, perspective, sometimes adding broader perspective that sometimes the club aren't aware of. So it was very high-level introductory, but it was really good that Lord Coe was there. I think that's a really big statement of not just the club's ambition but Greater Manchester's ambition to have someone of his stature [involved] who delivered the London Olympics. And I think that sends a message that this is more than building a stadium, which is a really important message to get over. This is potentially one of the biggest regeneration projects that the north of England will see in this century actually, it's that significant."
