Ten Hag's team news for Wembley

The Reds are back at Wembley for Sunday's 15:30 BST kick-off, with Chelsea or Manchester City awaiting the victors in the final next month.

Ahead of the clash with ex-Red Mark Robins's Championship side, United are dealing with a number of injuries, particularly in defence, but will be determined to take another step towards a second trophy of Ten Hag's tenure.

Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw and Raphael Varane have all been sidelined and do not look to be in a position to return.

However, further forward, there is a positive update emanating from the manager's press conference at Carrington.

Antony and Scott McTominay should be in contention to feature, after they both missed the draw at Bournemouth last time out. McTominay was hurt during the defeat at Chelsea and also sat out the 2-2 thriller with Liverpool.

Thankfully, Harry Maguire is likely to be fit to not exacerbate the issues at the heart of the back four.

"Yeah, Antony and Scott I expect them to be back," declared the boss. "Scott didn't train all week, partial on Wednesday, today I expect him full. Antony did train the whole week."

"As I've already said, Harry, all game against Bournemouth, he struggled. He had an issue. He had a small injury and didn't train this week, so far. But, now, he's back on the pitch. So we expect him, today, back in the team training. He will be available, I think and I hope, for Sunday."

Anthony Martial, who scored a dramatic FA Cup semi-final winner against Everton in 2016, is another of those still absent.

COVENTRY'S TEAM NEWS

The Sky Blues must do without midfielder Kasey Palmer, who is suspended for the big occasion.

Fellow midfielder Jamie Allen could be on the bench, though, after being sidelined since February, and Matty Godden is also fit and available, after being a substitute for the defeat to Birmingham City.

Japan winger Tatsuhiro Sakamoto remains on the sidelines.
