Julian Nagelsmann has signed a new contract with Germany, leaving Bayern Munich to search for an alternative successor to Thomas Tuchel this summer.

Nagelsmann was due to be available after the European Championships having signed only a short-term deal with the German national team, with Bayern, Barcelona and Liverpool all looking for new coaches at the end of the season.

But the 36-year-old, who replaced Hansi Flick in September, is off the table after agreeing to extend his deal until the end of the World Cup in 2026.
