Officials from Manchester United, Arsenal and Aston Villa have been in Italy to hold talks with Bologna over a deal to sign Joshua Zirkzee.

 

The 22-year-old Dutchman has been in terrific form this season and has scored eleven times in 31 Serie A appearances.

 

Zirkzee is a versatile attacker and his performances have piqued the interest of several clubs in the Premier League.

 

 

There is now a serious attempt under way to take the forward to the Premier League in the summer transfer window.

 

According to Italian daily Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), officials from three Premier League clubs have been in Italy to hold talks with Bologna.

 

 

Manchester United, Arsenal and Aston Villa have sent officials to Italy to conduct negotiations with the Serie A club.

 

The three clubs are expected to put formal offers with Bologna for the signature of the Dutch striker.

 

 

With Premier League clubs interested in Zirkzee, Bologna are likely to demand a steep fee before agreeing to sell him this summer.
