Manchester United are back in action tonight after their gruelling FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City on Sunday which saw them go to extra time and penalties after coming back from 3-0 down to the Championship side.

The match has been rescheduled due to Manchester United progressing in the FA Cup.

The pressure is well and truly on for Sheffield United as defeat against United, and then Newcastle on Saturday, could confirm their relegation to the Championship.

The Blades’ current points tally of 16 is the joint-third lowest points total in Premier League history and they currently sit 10 points from safety. United will also be hoping for a win in their quest to secure European qualification.

United are short of defensive options with Willy Kambwala, Jonny Evans, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez all injured.

Manchester United will also be without long-term absentees Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial and Tyrell Malacia.

Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay are also doubts for the game, but Ten Hag has said Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho should be fit.

Sheffield United will be without Tom Davies, George Baldock, John Egan, Daniel Jebbison, Max Lowe, Rhys Norrington-Davies and Chris Basham. But Rhian Brewster may return following a thigh problem.
