- 42 min: GOAL for Manchester United: Harry Maguire powers in a header, from Alejandro Garnacho’s cross. 1-1. That’s Maguire’s fourth goal of the season and second in successive games.

- 52 min: Casemiro makes an important tackle and moans at Christian Eriksen, who gave the ball away.

- 74 min: Corner to Sheffield United, and their shot goes over the bar. It’s been a little less one-sided this half. Manchester United still have 75% possession overall, but no advantage to show for it.
- 77 min: Mainoo puts Fernandes through but he can’t quite control the ball in the box and a chance is gone.

- 85 min: GOAL for Manchester United: Rasmus Hojlund gets on the scoresheet, getting on the end of a cross from Fernandes. 4-2, game over.
