Manchester United supporters had only one player in mind to win the Man of the Match award against Sheffield United on Wednesday night.
As Manchester United defeated Sheffield United 4-2 on Wednesday, it was a weirdly dominant performance.
It saw a clear shift of emphasis to patient possession build-up, however, it is yet to be seen if this was simply due to the quality of the opponent.
United came from behind on two occasions before Bruno Fernandes took matters into his own hands scoring two and assisting one.
Rasmus Hojlund and Harry Maguire also got on the scoresheet with Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho grabbing an assist each.
Now, fans have voted for the player of the match, with one player winning by landslide.

Manchester United fans voted for their man of the match against Sheffield United via the club app and website, with there being one overwhelming winner.

There was never any doubt who’d win the poll considering the impact that the Portuguese international had on the game.
Fernandes has been in incredible form of late, scoring in his last five games for United, which is a feat he’s never achieved before.

Fernandes gives verdict on his second goal
Despite a very special performance, there was undoubtedly one moment which was more special than any other for Fernandes.
This was his second goal which put United 3-2 ahead and it was a special manner in which to do so.
After the game, the Portuguese Magnifico had his say on the special goal which ended up the winner, as quoted by club media.
“I think, obviously it’s a great strike, but I think the team [contribution] was great. That makes the space bigger.”
Fernandes then praised every player around him for their role no matter how small, which showcases how incredible he is as a captain and why he’s been given that role.
