ASTON VILLA are in pole position to beat Spurs to 4th place in the Premier League and Unai Emery's players can take a massive step to securing that goal by beating Chelsea in tomorrow's 8pm kick-off.

Spurs host title-chasing Arsenal on Sunday before facing Liverpool (away) and Manchester City (home) on the run-in but Villa are 6 points clear despite Spurs' 2 games in hand and tonight's visitors were woeful midweek against Arsenal.

Emery's side is the last British club standing in Europe after booking a place against Olympiacos in next week's Conference League semi-final but the Champions League is the priority and 23/20 looks a great price to beat a floundering Chelsea.

Villa came from behind to beat Bournemouth last Sunday just 3 days after their penalty shootout win in Lille and Emery has been able to rest and regroup as Chelsea collapsed at Arsenal on Tuesday after losing their FA Cup semi-final to Manchester City.

EVERTON were magnificent against Liverpool on Wednesday after last weekend's vital win over Nottingham Forest and the Toffees look a tasty price at 13/10 to make it FOUR straight home wins by beating Brentford in the 5.30 kick-off.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin had gone 23 games without a goal before strikes against Newcastle, Burnley and Liverpool in Everton's last 5 matches and the striker can wreak havoc again as Everton look to win and go above tomorrow's rivals who are 4-2-11 on the road this season.

MANCHESTER UNITED had to come from behind twice to beat Sheffield United at Old Trafford midweek but they're now unbeaten in 4 games since that unbelievable 4-3 loss at Chelsea and I'm making them a banker bet to beat Burnley at 1/2.

I won't pretend Eric ten Hag's side haven't been a punters' nightmare this season but Burnley's relegation battle is partly down to a 3-4-11 road record and I just can't see Vincent Kompany plotting a win at United, despite just 1 defeat in their last 7 games at Everton.

Bruno Fernandes made it 7 goals and two assists in United's last five games with a penalty and a goal from open play against the Blades and any shoring up of United's back division would be a bonus as the under-fire Reds continue to score plenty of goals.

DONCASTER have been no strangers to these pages in recent weeks and last Saturday was no different as Rovers kept their promotion push going with a home win over Barrow at 21/20.

Two goals from Joe Ironside helped Grant McCann's side come back from two goals down to win 4-2 and Tuesday's win over Colchester made it a club-record equaling TEN league wins in a row to move into 5th place in League Two behind already promoted Stockport, Mansfield and Wrexham.

Rovers were third bottom of the table in February but McCann has masterminded a quite extraordinary comeback to need just a point from today's game at Gillingham for a play-off spot and I think they can do even better than that with a victory at 19/20.

Gills have only won two of their last 10 games going in to today's seasonal finale (for them) but Rovers can march on to the play-offs with another victory and keep their noses in front of Crew, Barrow and Crawley in the process..

WREXHAM will be keener than most to create a party atmosphere for the cameras with a final day win over champions Stockport at 7/5 with CRAWLEY fancied to beat Grimsby at 7/10 and await other results, including a likely BARROW win over already promoted Mansfield at 13/10.

The League One fixtures all kick-off at 12.30 and while there's little point in opposing 1/5 DERBY to secure the second automatic promotion spot by beating relegated Carlisle, punters can get the day off to a good start by backing OXFORD and BLACKPOOL to win at Exeter and Reading at 7/10 and 19/20.

NORWICH can stay on track for a play-off spot in the Championship by beating Swansea at 4/7 while Coventry's midweek conquerors HULL could be Saturday night single value to beat third top Ipswich at 11/5 and hope Norwich or West Brom slip up.

Saturday SINGLE

ST JOHNSTONE only have two home games left this season and a win at Hibs just three weeks ago makes today's 14/5 a standout for the home win in Perth.

Weekend ACCA

Four homes plus one on the road this week with the Acca paying out at 31/1 for all 5 winning.

Kilmarnock 5/4

Doncaster 19/20

Manchester Utd 1/2

Everton 13/10

Aston Villa 23/20

DUNDEE V CELTIC   Sunday  3pm     Sky Sports

Brendan Rogers will assume nothing other than a Rangers win in Paisley whatever Stephen Robinson's ambitions for Saints and there can't be any excuses for Celtic after 3-0, 3-0 and 7-1 wins over 17/2 Dundee this season.

The champions nearly blew their Cup Final spit when Aberdeen took them to penalties last Saturday but they rode their luck from the spot and they start the weekend 3 points clear with 5 games to play.

Goalless draws against Aberdeen and Rangers have helped secure a superb top six spot for Tony Docherty's side but next week's visit of St Mirren could be their Cup Final for 5th place and I'd be amazed if Celtic didn't engineer a victory at 2/7 and 1/4 with most firms.

ST MIRREN V RANGERS   Sunday 12.30pm    Sky Sports

Rangers get the chance to draw level on points at the top before Celtic kick-off in Dundee but their last two road trips to Dingwall and Dens suggest 4/11 is way too short.

St Mirren have had a successful season whatever happens on Sunday but manager manager Robinson wants a "marquee result" over Rangers after failing to take a point in 6 games against the Old Firm this season.

Saints are 7/1 to hand Celtic a major boost with a 9th home win of the season but I fancy them to take a point at the draw price of 4/1 after missing a host of scoring chances in Rangers 1-0 win here in January when Cyriel Dessers converted one of only two efforts on target for the visitors.

KILMARNOCK V HEARTS

The third best home record takes on the third best road record at Rugby Park and I'm backing the home side to get the better of the 23/20 Jambos for the first time in 5 attempts this season.

Hearts baffled me with a "nothing" performance against Rangers at Hampden and they do appear to have third place sewn up but Killie appear to be finishing strongly and a 5-match unbeaten league run includes a 1-1 draw at Tynecastle last month.

Marley Watkins scored one of the goals of the season to help Killie secure a point in Gorgie and the home side can win at 5/4 to book 4th spot in the table before going to Ibrox next Sunday.

ST JOHNSTONE V HIBERNIAN

Third bottom Saints will have one ear on Ross County's trip to Livingston but Craig Levein's side have their fate in their own hands and they must be targeting all 3 points at home to Hibs.

Hibs' board appeared to put Nick Montgomery's future on the line after last weekend's after their latest 1-1 draw at Motherwell and they're 10/11 to get the win which would keep them top of the bottom six whatever Motherwell do at Pittodrie.

Saints have already won at Easter Road this month and the distinct likelihood of a Staggies win at Livingston makes me think Levein can inspire a vital victory at a huge value 14/5.
