Manchester United fans named their man of the match (MOTM) in the 1-1 draw against Burnley.
Erik ten Hag‘s side were in Premier League action once again on Saturday, as they took on Vincent Kompany’s Burnley.
After Antony dispatched his first goal of the season in England’s top flight, it looked destined that Manchester United were set to emerge victorious in the fixture.
But then after Andre Onana conceded a penalty after a clumsy punch, Burnley drew level and ultimately nicked a point at Old Trafford.

In all honesty, there were not very many good performances from the Red Devils. But if we had to pick a few…
Antony
The Brazilian got the only goal of the game and never stopped running throughout. It was probably one of his best games in a United shirt. We don’t know if that’s worrying or not.
Bruno Fernandes
The club captain has been Manchester United’s star man in most games as of late, and was one of the more influential stars again against the Clarets.
Andre Onana
Made some absolutely crucial saves, particularly in the first half. Would have probably been a shoo-in for MOTM if it hadn’t been for his penalty mistake.

An unlikely winner in Antony, who certainly hasn’t won too many of these awards during his time around Carrington thus far.
Who do Manchester United take on next?
Manchester United now face a tough trip to Selhurst Park on Monday the 6th of May 2024 as they take on Crystal Palace.
Erik ten Hag‘s side’s European fate still rests in the balance. They could still obtain either Europa League or Europa Conference League football. Champions League now looks very unlikely.
Obviously, the big one coming up is that FA Cup Final against Manchester City. Redemption, hopefully, awaits.
