“Not easy”- Fabrizio Romano claims European giants want to keep €25m-valued Manchester United loanee for next season

25m-valued Man United loanee will not be easy to retain for European giants.

Manchester United loanee, Jadon Sancho continues to impress with his former club Borussia Dortmund. He recently scored an absolute banger against Rb Leipzig to bring himself up to 5 G/A for the European giants.

Dortmund have always rated the 24-year-old forward very highly. It comes as no surprise that the German giants wish to hold on to Sancho past his loan spell which will end with the season.

However, Fabrizio Romano says that it is “not easy” for Dortmund to retain the services of the English winger past this season. Man United paid a total of £73m for Sancho back in 2021. While his value has only deteriorated the German giants will still have a tough time bringing him back.

According to Transfermarkt Sancho is currently valued at around €25m, so Dortmund could make some kind of case to try and lure Manchester United into a cheap transfer for Jadon Sancho.

Unfortunately, just because Trasnfermarkt thinks Sancho is worth €25m doesn’t mean the Red Devils will agree with their evaluation. The people at Old Trafford have a big summer ahead of them and are expected to make a ton of improvements.

They will surely be needing money for all these expected improvements and it would make no sense for them to sell Sancho for cheap when they themselves are looking to make a heavy investment in the transfer market this summer.
