Ethan Wheatley cannot stop scoring goals. The Manchester United youngster has managed to get on the scoresheet yet again.

It’s been quite a week for Ethan Wheatley. Last week began with the teenager being named on the bench for the FA Cup semi-final.

He then scored two goals for the under-18s to win the Premier League Cup against rivals City, a game in which he played only 45 minutes.

This was because Manchester United had lined him up for the first team, and he made his debut in the win over Sheffield United.

Wheatley became the 250th academy graduate when he came off the bench, and he was part of the squad again at the weekend against Burnley.

This was the final game of the regular under-21 season, with United already assured of a place in the top 16, and the knockout phase.

United won won the match 6-3, with Ethan Wheatley helping the Red Devils overcome an early Saints opener.

Wheatley, 18, struck two goals in three minutes in the first half to put United 2-1 at the break, before a second half goal-glut.

The strikes took Wheatley up to five goals at under-21 level this season, in addition to his 17 goals for the under-18s.

He is full of confidence and in form right now, and Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag should be paying attention.
