Burnley manager Vincent Kompany has sounded a defiant Premier League survival cry ahead of his side's game with Newcastle United at Turf Moor this weekend.
The Clarets earned a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday, with Zeki Amdouni's late penalty cancelling out Antony's opener for the home side. The result means Burnley have only lost one of their last eight Premier League fixtures, leaving them two points off safety with three matches to play.
Their next games comes against Eddie Howe's Magpies, who are also in fine form, with just one defeat in their last six since the March international break. While Newcastle are battling for a top-six finish and a place in next season's Europa League, Burnley are desperate for points to help their survival bid.

They are currently just two points behind 17th-placed Nottingham Forest with the two remaining relegation spots now between the Clarets, Forest and Luton Town, with Sheffield United already down.
Kompany took plenty of positives from his side's draw at Old Trafford and felt the 'energy' his side showed is exactly what they need for their final three games - starting against Newcastle on Saturday.
"If we come here playing with Real Madrid, I might be debating with who has chances," the Burnley boss said. "For me, we had big chances, we showed team spirit. Burnley did themselves proud today. That's all that matters.
"The energy, the sacrifice as well from players for each other was there and for Burnley that's massive."
After facing United, Burnley go to Tottenham before a final-day showdown with Nottingham Forest at Turf Moor.
