Manchester United want to retain Marcus Rashford but will sell him if 2 conditions are met – Ornstein

Manchester United could sell Marcus Rashford if two conditions are met

According to David Ornstein, Manchester United would like to retain Marcus Rashford for next season. However, a sale could be made if two key conditions are met. The first being the arrival of a significant bid for the 26-year-old.

The second condition would be if Rashford himself doesn’t want to continue at United and wants to take on a new challenge past this season. However, one has to say it is a little sad how the English forward’s career has taken a turn for the worse.

He was on top of the world just a while ago and many believed Rashford would be the one to bring Manchester United back to their glory days. However, this form this past season has been abysmal and the fans have all turned on him.

This season Marcus Rashford has made 40 appearances for Manchester United recording eight goals and five assists. Absolutely unacceptable numbers for one of the Red Devils’ highest-paid players.

The badge weighs heavy on the 26-year-old and it wouldn’t be surprising if he asks for a change of scenery this summer. French giants, Paris Saint-Germain have constantly popped up in all talks surrounding Rashford’s future.

They will be looking to replace Kylian Mbappe this summer and will need to make some big signings to calm their fans down. From what it looks like Marcus Rashford could be their man, but then again he can’t be relied on to be consistent.
