Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has argued that he would not put one future Premier League Hall of Famer ahead of Manchester United icon Ryan Giggs.
Ryan Giggs holds the record for most Premier League title wins by a single player, having lifted the trophy 13 times under former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Manchester United legend was one of the famed ‘Class of ‘92’ members who rose through the ranks at the club and carved out a lasting legacy at Old Trafford.
Giggs spent the large majority of his United career playing under legendary former Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who widely hailed the influence of the Welshman.
The 50-year-old former United star, who retired from football in 2014, is regarded as one of the best players in the Premier League’s history.
During his glittering time at Old Trafford, Giggs also captured two Champions League titles, four FA Cups and four League Cups.
The ex-Wales manager, who is currently working in a role at Salford City, pursued a career in coaching after his legendary spell at Old Trafford came to an end.

Speaking to Simon Jordan on talkSPORT, Graeme Souness dropped his two cents on where Mohamed Salah would rank among the all-time Premier League players.
Mohamed Salah is out of contract with Liverpool in 2025 and his long-term future at Anfield remains shrouded in mystery amid speculation linking him to Saudi Arabia.
The 31-year-old Liverpool winger has had a sensational impact during his spell with Manchester United’s archrivals after he was signed from Roma in 2017.
Salah has scored 210 times for the Reds in 346 appearances, with the Liverpool star lifting a Premier League, a Champions League, an FA Cup and a League Cup.
But the Chelsea flop has recently been at the centre of controversy after his touchline spat with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp in the 2-2 draw against West Ham.
Jurgen Klopp is on his way out of Liverpool this summer after confirming the current Premier League campaign would be his last at Anfield.
Souness admitted he has been impressed by future Premier League Hall of Famer Salah, but he doesn’t think he would place ahead of Ryan Giggs on the all-time list.

“I don’t put him above Giggs,” Souness said.
“[I put Salah] along with [Sergio] Aguero. Gareth Bale, when he was on it, was just off the charts.
“He’s up there, you know, he’d be in the top 10 of all the greats that have played in the Premier League.”
Souness has admitted that there is a “real chance” Salah could leave Liverpool in a similar way to Cristiano Ronaldo leaving United for Real Madrid in 2009.
“I think there’s a real chance [he leaves this summer],” he said.
“I think there’s every chance that he’s done a deal with Liverpool in the summer of last year, with all the interest from Saudi Arabia, that he’s given them [Liverpool] another year.
“A bit like [Cristiano] Ronaldo at Man United, he gave them another year and then went off to Real Madrid [in 2009]. I think there’s every possibility that is the case.”
