Erik ten Hag unsure of Man United future amid increasing uncertainty

Speculation is growing around Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag’s future at the club.

The former Ajax manager has been criticised heavily for his team’s disappointing performance this season.

Even though the Dutchman can finish his second season at Old Trafford with another trophy, his job at the club is far from secure.

Man United face Man City in the FA Cup final this month in a repeat of last season’s final.

The Red Devils failed to win that final against their arch rivals, however, they ended up winning the Carabap Cup last season in ten Hag’s debut season at the club.

According to a report in HITC, the Man United manager is unsure if he will remain in charge of the club next season.

His team has struggled in the league this season and their failure to qualify for the Champions League next season could cost him his job.

The arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe as the club’s new minority owner has further fueled speculation surrounding the future of the manager and some of the players.

Erik ten Hag has been criticised for his work at Man United.

The British billionaire is determined to make changes at the club in order to make them challenge for trophies again.

Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Roberto De Zerbi along with other names have been linked with the Old Trafford job.

There is still nothing concrete when it comes to the future of the Man United manager.

Man United have still not made any decision

The Red Devils have a chance to win the FA Cup this month which might give ten Hag a reason to make a strong case for himself in front of the club’s decision makers.

Man United are sixth in the league with Champions League football out of their sight for next season, however, they can still make it to the Europa League.

With just one win in their last six Premier League matches, their form needs to change soon if the Dutch manager wants to qualify for Europe.

The club have not started talks with any potential future manager as they feel making a decision on their current manager should be dealt with first.
