Celebration time for our youngsters.

We took the lead when Amelia O. fired home after 18 minutes, following a really good build-up, which found Evie R. in a central area. A creative forward pass into Megan S. then picked out Amelia O. in space, where she could finish smartly.

The Reds started to enjoy more of the ball and looked dangerous on the attack.

A number of chances were blocked by the Arsenal defence but we had the upper hand in the first half, leading 1-0 at the break, through a very strong performance all round.

Arsenal equalised after 66 minutes but it wasn’t long until Tamira L. put us back ahead, following a great assist from Aoife F. with her first pass after coming on as substitute.

Megan S. added another goal on 85 minutes, direct from a free-kick, smashing it into the top of the net.
