JADON SANCHO silenced his doubters last night as Borussia Dortmund earned a 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain.

Sancho dribbled his way to the Man of the Match award while he left Virgin Media pundits Damien Delaney and Gary Breen baffled as to where his talents had gone in recent years.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Dortmund after being cast out from Man United due to a public spat with Erik ten Hag.

Sancho posted a statement defending himself on social media after the United boss had criticised his performance in training.

Ten Hag insisted Sancho would be allowed back in the side if he apologised but the English winger refused.

Last night, Sancho put on a stunning performance that United fans did not usually witness while he was in a red shirt and the Virgin Media panel believe happiness is a key factor.

Delaney said: "Without getting into 'Man United bashing', there's obviously a culture problem at Man United with the changing room.

"If you're going in and people are feeling sorry for themselves, selfish, not turning up as they should do, it's a horrible toxic culture.

"I think that's quite clear that's what Manchester United have been for a long time.

"If you're going in there and you're not happy and you're the type of happy-go-lucky character that Jadon Sancho is, you want a manager that's going to be like 'ah just enjoy yourself'.

"You know Tuchel said it before, Sancho sometimes would be a couple minutes late for a meeting and Sancho's the type that would giggle about it.

"But at Manchester United it was just the wrong environment and the wrong time.

Ten Hag claims there were 'issues' with Jadon Sancho BEFORE boss arrived at Man Utd and 'all the way through'

"I'm glad he's finding his feet now and obviously it will give him some options in the summer."

Gary Breen was full of praise for the Dortmund star and couldn't get over his performance in the Champions League semi-final.

He added: "That type of performance is something those Dortmund supporters had seen.

"The level he was playing in the Bundesliga was incredible before his move. He was truly sensational.

"You just watch him there and we talked about Mbappe really unnerving you as a defender.

"Well as the game wore on, every time he got the ball that ability to drop his shoulder, play inside, link - we saw everything that was good about him."
