Jadon Sancho has just sent another message to Manchester United with a remarkable Champions League semi-final performance against Paris Saint Germain.

It’s been some week for the Manchester United loanee. On Saturday, the English winger made German top-flight history by becoming the highest-scoring English footballer of all time in the Bundesliga.

Now, he put in an absolute masterclass of a performance against PSG in nothing less than a Champions League semi-final.

He gave Nuno Mendes a night to forget in Germany.

Jadon Sancho vs PSG in the Champions League

The 24-year-old unleashed the Sancho of old in front of the Yellow Wall on a sensational European night at the Signal Iduna Park.

Eden Terzic pulled off a famous 1-0 victory in the semi, which gives Dortmund the advantage heading into the second leg in Paris.

The standout performer on the night? None other than Manchester United’s £73m man, Jadon Sancho. The winger absolutely terrorised Nuno Mendes on the right-hand side.

His quality performance is reflected in some impressive stats on the night.

Fellow footballers were also impressed with his efforts.

A plethora of talent across the footballing stratosphere took to Instagram to congratulate Sancho on his fine display against French opposition.

This included the likes of United teammates Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof, whilst also a former Red Devils number seven in Memphis Depay.

Most notably, a man whom Sancho could be facing off against in the Champions League final, should he get there, Vinicius Jr of Real Madrid commented: ‘What a player.’

Premier League star Leon Bailey also raved about Sancho. He wrote: ‘Too wavy you!’

A fine performance from Sancho, but it doesn’t half make you question – why couldn’t he do this for Manchester United?
