Erik ten Hag believes that Jadon Sancho’s performance for Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League semi-final underlines why Manchester United expect to sell him for a high fee this summer.
Sancho, 24, left United under a cloud in January after falling out with Ten Hag over the Dutchman’s claim that he had performed poorly in training.
The England forward has rediscovered some of his best form on loan at Dortmund and on Wednesday night he toyed with the Paris Saint-Germain full back, Nuno Mendes, in the 1-0 first-leg win at Signal Iduna Park.
Despite Sancho’s impressive displays, United are still expected to cash in on the winger in order to boost their transfer funds in the summer.
