Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho sends uplifting Instagram post after shining against PSG
Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho has put out a resilient Instagram post after Borussia Dortmund’s UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg win over Paris Saint-Germain.
The England international, back at Dortmund on loan from Man United, has been gradually gaining his form back and was on full flow against the Parisians on Wednesday night.
The 24-year-old also earned a Man of the Match 8.8 rating from FotMob for his individual showing, which helped the BVB secure a 1-0 win in the first leg.
Sancho has quickly gained the trust of Edin Terzić to return to the Dortmund starting XI ever since returning in January.
The 24-year-old’s performances have also spurned reports that the German side are willing to buy him back from United in the summer should a reduced fee be agreed.
Sancho resurgence further puts pressure on Erik ten Hag
Sancho’s feud with Erik ten Hag was always a personal matter and not one borne out of stylistic or tactical malfunctions.
Now, it is impossible in life for any person to be universally liked, so it’s normal for two people at a workplace to not be able to stand each other. As a manager, Erik ten Hag can make as many tough calls against his players as he wants, but then he needs to back those calls with results.
And there haven’t been enough results to help the Dutchman justify his calls, putting even more pressure on him.
