<p>The winger<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/jadon-sancho-premier-league-borussia-dortmund-chelsea-ian-maatsen/blt6ebdc4e9635b3001" target="_blank"> joined Dortmund on loan</a> in January after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/news/jadon-sancho-train-manchester-united-squad-outburst-erik-ten-hag/blt6a3abba8f0e14533" target="_blank">falling out with United manager Erik ten Hag.</a> Despite failing to fire at Old Trafford, he is rekindling the form that led to the Red Devils forking out £73 million ($85m) to sign him from the German giants in 2021. Following his successful efforts to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/psg-player-ratings-vs-borussia-dortmund-kylian-mbappe/blt2d3b6fc43c6e4faf" target="_blank">help BVB reach the Champions League final</a>, United look set to receive a tidy sum. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>According to<a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cd184jyy40mo" target="_blank"> BBC Sport</a>, the Red Devils included additional payment clauses dependent on appearances and achievements at Dortmund, meaning they could receive €4 million (£3.4m/$4.3m) in bonus payments. The report adds as the 24-year-old has featured in the majority of Dortmund's games since joining them on loan in January, it is thought they could receive all of that £3.4m.</p>

THE EXPLANATION

<p>Sancho scored just 12 goals and bagged a paltry six assists in 82 games for United. Since returning to former side Dortmund, the former Manchester City academy product has scored three times and turned provider twice in 18 appearances - 16 of which have been starts - for BVB. </p>
