Manchester United are back in Premier League action for the final time on Sunday when they make the long trip south to Brighton.

A disappointing campaign could end with a bang if United can finish these last two matches with victories. A win over the Seagulls could be enough to finish seventh in the Premier League if Newcastle drop points at Brentford.

The Magpies have a far superior goal difference so if they win, then the Reds have no chance of reaching Europe through their Premier League position. However, should they leapfrog Eddie Howe's men, United are guaranteed to be playing in Europe - but whether that is the Europa League or Europa Conference League would depend on whether they win the FA Cup or not next Saturday, and on Chelsea's result at home to Bournemouth.

Ahead of the last Premier League fixture of the season, MEN Sport has taken a closer look at what the media is saying.

Olise weighing up his options

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, United are one of the teams showing a keen interest in Michael Olise. Crystal Palace's winger has been in sparkingly form this campaign with ten goals and five assists in 18 appearances.

His game time has been hampered due to injury but according to Ornstein, this has not dampened the Reds' interest in the forward. He also adds that Olise is not one to rush into a decision and he will be thinking long and hard about where he moves next.

What MEN Sport says: Olise's characteristics hint that he is not the type of player who will follow his heart over his head in the summer. When deciding which club he moves to next, he will not be bringing into account his boyhood support for United but rather how they can help him develop in his career.

This will be a worry for the Reds after a below-par decade but these last two matches will work as United's audition. If they can look solid at Brighton and gain a positive result which ultimately helps them win the FA Cup next weekend, Olise may be convinced that the Reds are starting to turn a corner now their squad is coming back to full fitness. If United end up with no European football next season, it will be a much more difficult sell considering Arsenal are also thought to be keen.

Tuchel leaving Bayern Munich

Thomas Tuchel confirmed on Friday that he was conducting his final press conference in charge of the Bavarian club. Earlier this week, reports had circulated that Bayern was looking to convince the German head coach to stay on, but his mind appears made up.

What MEN Sport says: There is plenty of speculation that Tuchel would like to take on the managerial role at Old Trafford if Erik ten Hag is sacked and ultimately he is the only option currently linked with the club which sounds like a worthy fit.

Could Sir Jim Ratcliffe's decision on Ten Hag be swayed by the outcome of the FA Cup final? Possibly. But, it is more likely to depend on how few options there are in the managerial market. If Ratcliffe cannot persuade someone who he feels is notably better than Ten Hag to join, then there is really no point in sacking him before his contract expires in 2025.
