Another week of the summer transfer window is coming to a close as clubs' recruitment plans continue to take shape. Manchester United are closing in on their second addition, while Liverpool arguably boast the most impressive market movement so far and don't plan to stop.

There could also be a transfer battle brewing between Arsenal and North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, with one of the Premier League's most exciting players at stake. Other clubs are moving more discreetly behind the scenes ahead of an expected wave of activity on the other side of July 1, the start of the new PSR window.

Arsenal 'suddenly' enter race for £85m star

Arsenal have ‘suddenly’ entered the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitike, reports BILD.

With the Gunners struggling to strike deals for either Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko, alternative options are under consideration – though Ekitike is valued at a whopping £85million.

Nevertheless, the Frenchman is now viewed as a ‘serious’ option at the Emirates Stadium. Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are also keen.

Ex-Chelsea star set for Turkey switch

Former Chelsea star Tammy Abraham is set to join Besiktas.

Fabrizio Romano reports that an agreement is in place for the striker to leave AS Roma to join the Turkish outfit for £17million.

Abraham is said to have approved of the move and will fly to Turkey soon to complete the move.

Chelsea strike Joao Pedro deal

Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Brighton to sign Joao Pedro.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign the Brazilian in a deal worth in excess of £50million.

The forward has already agreed on a personal terms with the Blues and he is set to undergo his medical early next week to ensure that he can compete at the Club World Cup in the United States.

Pedro has agreed to sign a contract until 2032 with Enzo Maresca’s side.

German sides set sights on England U21 hero

Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen have expressed an interest in signing James McAtee, reports ESPN.

The Manchester City star impressed when leading England to Under-21 European Championship glory over the weekend, but his future at the Etihad Stadium remains uncertain.

A host of German sides have the playmaker in their sights, with Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig and Stuttgart also keen on the £25million-rated star.

Arsenal set to make departure announcement

Thomas Partey will leave Arsenal tomorrow when his contract expires, reports The Athletic.

The 32-year-old was in talks to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium, but the Gunners now plan to announce Partey’s departure early next week after a fresh agreement could not be reached.

Arsenal are set to welcome the arrivals of Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard imminently to bolster their midfield ranks.

Sunderland have pounced to make another smart signing.

According to Fabrizio Romano, defender Reinildo is set to join the Black Cats on a two-year deal.

The left-back has been linked with a host of top clubs around Europe after running down his contract with Atletico Madrid, but Sunderland have managed to snap him up on a free transfer.

Liverpool consider swap deal for Marc Guehi

Liverpool are reportedly ready to use Ben Doak as a makeweight in negotiations with Crystal Palace for Marc Guehi.

According to The Sun, the Eagles are demanding £50million to part ways with their captain, despite his contract expiring at Selhurst Park next summer. As a result, Liverpool are considering a player-plus-cash deal for the England international.

Palace are keen admirers of Doak, who spent last season on loan at Championship outfit Middlesbrough, and he could be used as a bargaining chip by Liverpool in talks. The Reds are willing to offer the £25m-rated forward as part of the deal, though an agreement could take ‘a great deal of negotiating’.

Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement for Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera.

As per Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners have agreed personal terms with Mosquera.

It means Arsenal just need a bid to be accepted for a deal to push forward, with a fee of £17million being mooted.

Darwin Nunez has reportedly informed the Liverpool hierarchy that he intends to leave the club this summer.

Napoli have emerged as a suitor for the Uruguay international, but are currently unwilling to match Liverpool's £70million valuation.

Nunez started just eight Premier League matches last term and isn't believed to be part of Arne Slot's future plans.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin to leave Everton on free transfer

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has revealed he's set to leave Everton on a free transfer.

The striker's contract is set to expire this week, with no new deal having been agreed between the two parties.

Calvert-Lewin is 28 years old and joined Everton in 2016.

He played 273 times for Everton, scoring 71 goals and registering 22 assists.

Chelsea have banked an added £9.5million to their transfer kitty after progressing to the quarter-final of the Club World Cup.

The Blues ran out winners in their last-16 tie against Benfica, during what was a chaotic night Stateside.

Bayern Munich are reportedly eyeing up a move for Nick Woltemade, following the striker's impressive performances at the U21 Euros.

The attacker is said to have agreed on personal terms, as per Fabrizio Romano, but Stuttgart aren't keen to sell.

Bayern have agreed to proceed in talks and begin pushing for a move.

Chelsea join Man Utd in race to sign Emiliano Martinez

Chelsea have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez, reports The Mirror.

The Argentine is available for £45million this summer, and several clubs have set their sights on the former Arsenal star.

Chelsea are in the market for a new No. 1 and they have been ‘offered’ the chance to sign Martinez, but there is a belief that the player would rather head to Old Trafford instead.

Casemiro is reportedly set to remain at Manchester United next season.

The Mirror report that the midfielder believes his chance of featuring for Brazil at the World Cup next summer if he remains at Old Trafford, having been recalled to his national side’s team earlier this month.

Saudi side preparing £72m bid for Liverpool ace

Al-Nassr are reportedly prepared to table an offer worth in excess of £72million for Liverpool star Luis Diaz.

Ben Jacobs reports that the Saudi Pro League outfit have made the Colombia international their top target on the left-wing, though it is unclear whether the player is open to a move to the Middle East at this stage.

Liverpool told Barcelona that they would not be willing to sell Diaz this summer previously, but it remains to be seen whether a big-money offer tests their resolve.

Al-Nassr also have other options on their shortlist, including Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli and Manchester United duo Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho.

The winger is set to pen a seven-year contract with the Blues, with his medical expected to take place this evening.

Brentford are reportedly eyeing up a move for versatile star Noah Sadiki this summer.

Sacha Tavolieri has reported the Bees are keen on the 20-year-old, who has impressed for Belgian outfit Union SG.

It's claimed that both Leeds United and German side Eintracht Frankfurt are also keen, with personal terms yet to be agreed.

Marc Guehi is reportedly open to moving to Liverpool this summer, as per The Echo.

It's reported that the centre-back is admired by Liverpool, who are keen to bolster their defence following the departure of Jarell Quansah.

Sunderland closing in on big-money transfer

Sunderland are reportedly closing in on a big-money transfer for Habib Diarra.

That's according to Fabrizio Romano, who reports the recently-promoted side are expected to complete a £30million for the Strasbourg star.

Diarra can play as a winger or a midfielder and registered nine G/A contributions last term.

Tottenham consider £40m swoop

Tottenham and West Ham are both weighing up a move to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey.

The £40million-rated Englishman is a player Villa are open to selling, say the Daily Mail.

He would represent pure profit for the club as an academy graduate and they would be able to reinvest all that money into the squad.

Just a matter of months after heading to the Saudi Pro League, Jhon Duran could be on the move again.

Mbeumo makes transfer stance clear

Bryan Mbeumo has reportedly told Brentford and Tottenham that he will only join Manchester United if leaves the Gtech Community Stadium this summer.

United have been largely regarded as the frontrunners to sign the Cameroon international, but Spurs' decision to replace Ange Postecoglou with Thomas Frank has sparked speculation that the north London outfit could hijack the move.

However, Mbeumo appears fixated on heading to Old Trafford. According to The Athletic, after seeing their initial £55m offer rejected, United have now had an increased bid turned down. The Red Devils are said to have offered £55m up front with a further £7.2m in add-ons.

During talks, Mbeumo also added that he will only negotiate a move with United this summer and informed Spurs that he does not intend to reunite with Frank at the club.

Liverpool sign new goalkeeper

Liverpool have confirmed they have signed Preston North End’s Freddie Woodman as a back-up goalkeeper.

With keepers Vitezslav Jaros and Harvey Davies both set to head out on loan, the Reds have moved for Woodman to be their third-choice at Anfield.

Woodman, 28, used to play for Newcastle and will join Liverpool as a free agent.

He also qualifies as a homegrown player, which helps towards the club's Premier League quotas.

German giants join race for Harvey Elliott

RB Leipzig are the latest side to be credited with having an interest in Harvey Elliott.

The Liverpool playmaker has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, and his performances at the Under-21 Euros have certainly caught the eye.

According to talkSPORT, Leipzig are interested in Elliott, but they face competition from a host of Premier League clubs. Liverpool have versatile midfielder in excess of £40million.

Arsenal 'two players' away from Premier League title

Arsenal icon Charlie Nicholas believes the club are just two signings away from competing for next season's Premier League title.

“MartIn Zubimendi is a solid signing and a great option as a so-called ‘perfect six’, especially as Thomas Partey is going," Nicholas told Sky Bet.

"I still think we need another defender, but we don’t know if the likes of Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oleksandr Zinchenko will stay.

"We should have enough cover with Miles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori when he’s fit.

“One more midfielder and a top striker are crucial, and if Gabriel Martinelli leaves, that adds another wide player to the equation.

"Liverpool have made strong moves, particularly with players like Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez, so Arsenal must respond because Liverpool currently has the favourites tag.

Chelsea are set to make a third bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, according to talkSPORT.

It's claimed that the Blues are hoping to strike a deal worth around £45million with Dortmund.

They saw offers worth £30m and £42m rejected before the FIFA Club World Cup started.

But there is a general anticipation that Gittens will land at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United hope Bryan Mbeumo is through the door for the club's return to pre-season training on July 7.

United are on the brink of reaching an agreement worth over £60m with Brentford for the 25-year-old winger.

According to Sky Sports, the 23-year-old is set to extend his current deal as early as next week.

Branthwaite has been the subject of interest from Champions League clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

But the England international is ready to go again at Everton next season as he looks to earn a spot in Thomas Tuchel's World Cup squad.

Tom Heaton signs new Man Utd contract

Tom Heaton has signed a one-year contract extension at Manchester United.

The 39-year-old goalkeeper will stay at Old Trafford as Ruben Amorim's third goalkeeper until 2026.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has left Leicester City by mutual consent after suffering Premier League relegation.

The Dutchman joined Leicester from Manchester United in November 2024 but endured a tough spell.

In a statement, Van Nistelrooy said: “I would like to personally thank the Leicester City players, coaches, academy and all the staff I have worked with for their professionalism and dedication during my time at the Club and to thank the fans for their support, and take this opportunity to wish the Club well for the future.”

Man Utd signing set for loan

Manchester United will complete the signing of Le Havre striker Enzo Kana-Biyik on July 1.

And the 18-year-old is set to immediately leave on loan, joining INEOS-owned Swiss club Lausanne-Sport.

Kana-Biyik arrives in Manchester from Le Havre, following in the footsteps of Paul Pogba.

New York Red Bulls are reportedly locked in talks over a move for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.

According to The Athletic, Werner is surplus to requirements in Germany and both clubs are optimistic they will strike a deal.

The former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur star would be keen on a move to New York, and discussions are said to have been ongoing for months.

Arsenal have reportedly attempted to gazump Tottenham Hotspur's interest in Eberechi Eze by holding talks with the midfielder's representatives.

Manchester United are on the brink of sealing a deal for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.

According to talkSPORT, who broke the news about United's second bid worth £60m, Mbeumo is expected to undergo his medical next week.

That would likely see the 25-year-old complete his switch at the start of July.

At this stage, it would be a shock if Mbeumo didn't join Matheus Cunha through the door before pre-season begins on July 7.
