Crystal Palace's Michael Olise is on the shortlist for the Premier League goal of the month for January.

The 21-year-old's stunning free-kick against Manchester United at Selhurst Park has been shortlisted for the award. Olise struck an unstoppable effort past David De Gea from 25 yards in injury time to earn Palace a point in the Premier League fixture on Wednesday, January 18.

It was Olise's second goal of the season after he netted the winner against West Ham United in November, which was also an injury time strike.

Olise is one of eight players on the shortlist for the award, with the Palace star up against Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, Brighton trio Solly March, Danny Welbeck and Kaoru Mitoma, Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Wolves' Daniel Podence.

Olise is the only Crystal Palace representative shortlisted for an award in January. Meanwhile, three goalkeepers, Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga, Manchester United's De Gea and Newcastle United's Nick Pope, have been shortlisted for the save of the month award for saves they made against the Eagles.
