0:05 Q: What inspired you to support and join Manchester City?
0:09 FODEN: “Obviously, I was very young when I got scouted and ever since I trained I just fell in love with the club. I loved watching David Silva who became my idol and I've been there ever since.”

0:24 Q: Do you see yourself as a role model to young fans?
0:27 FODEN: “Definitely, I feel like I can set an example on the pitch and also off the pitch to the young people, young kids that want to be me.”

0:43 Q: When you were a young kid did you ever dream you would be playing in the Premier League, huge finals for City and England, winning trophies, winning awards? Have to pinch yourself?
0:55 FODEN: “Yeah, obviously, you always have a dream as a kid to be one of the big players but sometimes you don't think it's possible. So, yeah, I feel really fortunate to be in position I'm in now and play with so many quality players.”

1:08 Q: You went to see the England women win the Euros at Wembley. A lot of your teammates from Manchester City played in it. Is that an inspiration for young girls that it's so high profile now?
1:27 FODEN: “Definitely I think what they did, you know, winning the Euros has definitely changed women's football forever. I think they've inspired the full young girls wanting to play football definitely. They've inspired everyone and they did a great job.”

1:45 Q: Would you like your son and daughter to follow in your footsteps one day and become footballers?
1:47 FODEN: “Yeah fingers crossed they like football and are into it but you know I'm not going to force them. Whatever they like, I'm going to back them and have their backs.”

1:59 Q: In terms of Manchester United we know it's a big season for you, you've got Manchester City as your big rivals. How do you understand the rivalry? Is it communicated to you by the fans or by the other players or do you just feel it in the city?
2:14 Varane: “I think it especially comes from the fans. I think the rivalry is very important for them and we respect that. And we want to make them happy, so we want to fight and to win against teams like City or Liverpool.”

2:35 Q: How do you communicate, how do you get your feedback from the fans? Are you in touch, do you watch on social media to see what they say?
2:40 Varane: “We're in touch. They always try to motivate the players. They always have a positive word or something like that before the games. So we can feel their support.”

2:55 Q: And of course you played in France and then Madrid and now Manchester. Do you think there's an importance of having that connection with the local community wherever you play?
3:03 Varane: “Yeah, it's very important. You have to feel what the fans are expecting from you and what they want. It is very important.”

3:15 Q: Do you feel a Mancunian now, do
