Manchester United's U21s lost 3-1 to Wrexham but Hannibal and Alvaro Fernandez were a cut above the rest despite the defeat. Erik ten Hag's influence on United's patterns of play but Dan Gore's red card at the start of the second half killed the contest.
It was a good experience nevertheless but United's U21s were bullied defensively by Wrexham and that was their downfall overall.
