Sir Jim Ratcliffe is proposing a deal for Manchester United that would enable Avram and Joel Glazer to keep their 20% stake and remain minority owners at Old Trafford.
Sheikh Jassim will submit his final bid this week as well and his bid is for full control of United. He has no interest in taking a partial stake.
This is a significant and frankly dangerous development in the potential takeover of Man United and one we will discuss as a community this morning.
